Raven Tackle

Muskegon River and Grand River Steelhead Fishing Guided Fishing

Steelhead fishing has been good for us so far this year, we are catching a mix of fish that have been around for awhile and silver fish that have just shown up.  We have been float fishing mostly but have been taking fish with other methods as well.  If you are looking to get out this Winter or Spring give me a call ASAP as my Spring dates are starting to fill in.  I still have a fair number of days available but the calls are starting to increase.  If you want to get out and try some centerpin fishing that has been the way of choice lately, I have centerpin rods and reels from Raven Tackle for your use.  Winter is a great time to get out and get into a bunch of fish with barely anyone on the water so if you have cabin fever and want to get out give me a call.  Here are a few pictures from the past few outings.

Spring Steelhead Fishing on the Muskegon and Grand Rivers is getting near.

Spring Steelhead fishing is getting near, it is hard to believe March is already here.  Fishing has been good for us all Winter when the weather let us out on the water.  Call now for some great guide trip dates from now through May for Steelhead fishing on the Grand River and Muskegon River.  We should have some great fishing from now through atleast Mid May so don't wait to book a guided steelhead fishing trip.  We have Raven Centerpin set ups if you are looking to give Centerpin fishing a try, otherwise we have new spinning, and baitcasting set ups as well.  If you are looking for an experienced guide give me a call.

Below are a few pics since my last update.

Muskegon River Spring Steelhead Fishing

Steelhead Fishing has been awesome over the past few weeks on the Muskegon River.  We have been putting lots of fish into the boat on our guided steelhead fishing trips.  We have mainly been float fishing with spinning gear and centerpins.  I also fished the Grand River in Grand Rapids near the 6th street dam and did pretty well for May, we were into the double digits for a couple hours of fishing with a mix of dark and chrome drop backs and some dime bright fresh run fish.  The Rogue River has also been putting out some good fish lately from what I have been hearing.  The Muskegon River has been where we have mainly been and it has been producing large numbers of spawners, drop backs, and some fresh fish.  If you are looking to get out and try Centerpin fishing we have a brand new arsenal from Raven Tackle and we still have some openings on the 12th, 13th, and 14th.

Below is a sample of the fishing lately.
