Muskegon River Steelhead Fishing

12/16/11 Steelhead fishing on the upper Muskegon River yesterday was great, there are lots of fish around this year and it seemed as if they all were turned on and looking to feed with the increase in water.  We took most of our fish while float fishing with spawn with a few jig and plug fish as well.  The Grand River is rising again but there have been people taking fish up at 6th street dam in Grand Rapids as well as upstream in the Ionia and Lowell areas.  December is a great month for Steelheading in West Michigan so give us a call to enjoy some of the best fishing that Michigan has to offer.  Below are a few of the fish we took pictures of from the 15th.

Rogue River Fishing Guide - Steelhead, Trout, Smallmouth Bass

The Rogue River is a smaller sized stream just north of Grand Rapids.  This river receives good numbers of Steelhead and offers some classic Steelhead water to intercept them in.  The Rogue also receives a large number of planted Coho Salmon that return in the fall.  The Rogue has perfect water for Fly Fishing or Float Fishing and at times can provide some real big fish number days.  There are also some great trophy sized trout opportunities to be had on this river.  We offer Float trips on a raft that seats 2 and myself as well as walk in trips on this river throughout the year for Steelhead, Trout, Salmon, and Smallmouth.
